Well you do have to consider that old Jack no doubt enjoyed lots of cocktails around safari campfires compliments of Winchester.
And also no doubt that after a few of them he would readily admit that the 280 was the better cartridge. lol
I dare say folks downed the 22/250 coming after the 220 swift back in the 1930's? Maybe not? I expect folks several years after the depression were glad to have anything and didn't complain about much at all.

Well...wasn't the 264Magnum bashed as a barrel burner...then the 7Mag....todays bashings are on the 26Nosler.....
Are they still barrel burners or is today's metal in barrels higher quality and negates some of the burners...
