Is bigger than 338 and smaller than 50, I think, and has somewhat of a lead RBBT. The lead if thats what it is is almost unscratchable with anything that was laying around. The small dink on the bottom of the base is where I smacked it with a large hunk of lava rock.....

It also may be jacketed from the base of the boat tail to the front but I'm not sure. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Its the metal core from a 50BMG ball round.
An API will go through 2½" of mild steel @ 300 yards but that plate apears to be a little tuffer than mild steel.
