Weatherby Mark V "Hunter"

For those of you considering a Mark V Hunter in 7mm Bee, pay close attention to the specific one you are looking at. I've seen some being sold that have a 1:10 twist but more lately, I've seen them in 1:9 twist. I've reached out to Weatherby directly awhile ago to get clarification but never got a reply. I reload and given the pressure limits on the 7mm Bee and the newer 1:9 twist, the Hunter may be the complete package.

I noted that on Weatherby's website for a very short time they showed a 1:9 twist; it has since reverted back to 1:10.
I find that phone calls to Weatherby work, and emails rarely do, if you want to contact them.

I have used up to 160gr bullets with no issue, and the only 175s that work are shorter bullets such as the Partition.

Given that, the 146 Hammer Hunter works very well as does the 150 TTSX.
