Where is the best place to buy a vortex razor 6-36x56? I have been looking around the and the optics planet seems to have the best price? Anyone seen any good deals thanks for any info!

A shameless plug, if interested.

Haha I was looking at that one. You're not that far way.

Eurooptic is usually pretty good. Especially if you qualify for the Mil/LEO program.
So vortex does mil discount off their MSRP. The Gen 3 razor is one of the cheapest tier 1 optics. The price option they usually give through these programs is pretty much what the stores sell it for.

I'm not complaining, but I would rather guys not go bending over backwards looking for a deal that doesn't exist. Eurooptics

The other thing is it's a pretty decent wait time if you're just now looking to buy

You're right about the discount off the MSRP - I bought a new 6-36 Razor from Eurooptic for $1900 18 months ago. Vortex subsequently increased the MSRP quite a bit, so the discount now isn't what it once was ($2851).

Eurooptic sells a black version of the 6-36 Razor that was discounted to $2300 for a long time. Unfortunately, it's now at the same price point as the regular version.

OP - after thinking it over, if you have a cabelas club card, you could get a decent deal on the last Monday of Dec (assuming the club member Monday still holds).

They've been doing 15% off for club members. Also, if you do the purchase through active junky, you could get an additional 8-10% off.

Currently at 3K, so 15% off is $2550. Figure in Active Junky discount (which is usually off the list price, not after a coupon code) of $240-$300. That gets you a pretty decent deal.

Otherwise, it looks like opticsplanet is the best price.
