What a story of the Marines on The Rock and a father & son. I don't have the words to share. I was on Okinawa several times to deploy on several operations while in The Marines. I toured several parts of the Island, in the mountains, and saw the stronghold caves that the Japanese held. It had to be ungodly place and battel when the Marines captured it.
