  • Nixon makes some great , high quality leather. I have several of his rigs for N frame Smiths. Do you still jump? I'm not jumping anymore but have about 2500+ jumps. D7297. I still have a rig. Somewhere.

I do still jump. Only 590 jumps so far. Mostly doing large formations nowadays.

I bought a Cessna 180 about 12 years ago and moved to Idaho. Hung up my ripcord when I got the 180. I live in Idaho and love flying the back country, hunting and fishing. I'm 73 now and the jumping was getting a little harder on the old bod. I used to jump at both Perris Valley and Lake Elsinore. A lot of big formations were being done at those DZ's. I've been on a 64 and 100 way.

600 jumps is nothing to sneeze at and it is a big expense to get there. I can remember when that was huge and a guy or gal with that many jumps was a skygod. The sport has been around a lot longer since I started sport jumping. Folks with 10K jumps are not that uncommon. I'm also a believer that at a certain point jump numbers don't matter especially if experience is obtained at a reasonable pace.
I like your chest rig, who makes it? I finally had to give up low light shots with my Ruger SBH due to 50 year old eyes and blurry iron sights at "Prime Time". So I scoped it and now trying to find a nice chest rig. . .yours looks promising.

He does a great job. That chest rig isn't cheap but it is a top quality.
