I used to buy quite a bit from Midway.... back in the day when they had articles on their prairie dog hunting adventures in the back of the reloading catalogs. They always told how many thousands of rounds fired. Shipping was free then. At some time they switched to "fair and honest shipping" which seemed like neither. That was about the same time I learned the value of buying local
Well.... They have Titewad BUT!!! Check this out when you try to add it to your cart.... I can't imaging paying shipping and hazmat for just 14oz of any powder... LOL

The limits and metering them out a few pounds at a time are a pain, and definitely drive costs up. They also mean there are more opportunities for people to pick up powder. Powder is coming back. I've had more opportunities for Varget in the last couple weeks that I had in the few months BEFORE the pandemic started. Powder drops are getting more frequent and bigger every week lately. As soon as people realize that and stop trying to stock up for the apocalypse in this climate, Powder will start making it to the shelves at the local shops and we can all stop paying shipping fees for a pound or two.
Well... It's people stocking up but also it's people that are looking to grab it all before actual handloaders get a chance and then to sell it at scalping prices on Gunbroker.
Has anyone seen any Reloder 23, 26, or 33 lately? I haven't heard of much Alliant powder available.

I picked up an 8 pound jug of RL33 from brownells last week!

Store near the beach here in NC had a case of 25, which I of course have no use for.
Brownell's released some Alliant last week. I picked up some 16 and 23. I believe they had 33 As well. If there was any 26, it was gone when I got there.
I'm on the hunt for RL23. That's what most of my loads are developed with.
