Has anyone been using Vairog brass? I found some once fired and I ordered it because it was all I could find that wasn't over $1 each. I haven't recieved it yet. I am hoping it is good brass.

Vairog brass is manufactured in their facility in Tennessee. The parent company is located in Latvia.

I have bought and fired several dozen .338 Lapua cartridges in two different rifles. The fired brass measures out to be chamber size without any malfunctions, misfires or or drawbacks. The fired cases are easily resized using standard reloading/resizing dies, nothing custom or unusual. Case growth is checked and trimmed when necessary as usual.

I find it's just fine for cartridges I either reload for or buy factory when necessary for testing.

:)

Did you buy this brass from oncefiredbrass.com? I ask because I just ran across the same brass and I myself have never heard of them and I live in Tennessee about an hour from where it's produced

Thought so lol I myself have was also looking for some 7mm-08 brass for an AR10 build I've almost completed. MidwayUSA has some and a couple brands were on sale last time I checked. I have a tendency to build or buy rifles and go a little over kill with my ammo loading so I try to buy in bulk and ram across the same website. Let us know how they turn out may order a bag or 2 myself.

Bought mine from Everglades Ammo. It was new brass well made and anealed. Clean flash holes. Bought 250 so I'm flush with.223 brass for a while. I'm A bolt gun shooter so it's not banged around or dented from the brass deflector on a AR.

If your bolt is sliding hard enough to sling your brass out against the deflector that hard then your over gassed…..it should be a smooth motion….youll have a couple randoms that get dented but shouldn't be every one or a bunch maybe just one out of a whole 30 rnd mag. But those are normally pulled out by fl size dies or shot out the next time you fire them
