believe it wants your Bluetooth and location turned on to access the app then you can Bluetooth your solution from your phone to the lrf. I think I've been out of internet service range and switched guns on mine but I'm not 100% sure
Thing is this, when you open the Leica app, it wants to update the ballistic profiles, you need internet for that, thereafter you can bluetooth the ballistic table to the RF. My question is can one get around the internet issue?

I can turn off my wifi and mobile data on my phone to nuke internet reception and can still utilize the app. it gives me a temperature error notice but I can still bring up all my stuff
Can you without Internet, transfer a ballistic table to your RF?
So I have figured it out… if you are in the field, no internet, open the leica app, bluetooth on your phone is switched on, the leica is connected to you phone, go to the ballistics tab, hold your finger on the ballistic table you want to use and drag it to the left with your finger, then select "ballistic curve", and then at the bottom of the ballistic curve, select transfer to device! And you are done!

I would have been pretty surprised if Leica didn't plan for their gear to be used without internet, it could be more user-friendly for sure but I've really liked my Leica gear
