Useful purpose for 7rum action

why not a 28 Nosler, probably the best 7 on the market. Ohh boy going to get hung for that, but if you want magnum performance and a 7mm that's what I would consider.

The 28 Nos is supposed to be a machine but the only one I have experience with severely under performs.

All the SAUMs are out. Only WSM left is the 300. PRCs are still available and would go with one of those. Specifically a 6.5 PRC. Lower recoil, great long slender bullets and ammo is readily available. There is no downside.

Hi everyone,
New here but not to shooting or hunting. I have a 7 rum in a 700BDL engraved that I have no intentions of shooting. I would like to get it barreled to something more realistic when it comes to finding ammo, (without reloading at the moment) less recoil than a rum, and something that would do nicely from a 24" max length barrel. I already have a custom 300 RUM and 338 RUM so looking for something a little different.
Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Shot mine today 1st rounds down range 178 hornandy eldx 94.8 grains of h1000 fps. 175 eldx 84 grains of imr 4350 3300 fps . Adg brass = 3 shot bug holes at 100 . I do believe I like this caliber
