My guess is all this is a distraction. The house finally grew some balls and is investigating a lot of different prominent individuals and companies.

Some of the low tech "solutions" have proven fairly effective in recent conflicts.Holy!! Another object was just sighted over Canada! Are these appearing out a portal? Remington has these TSS Tungsten turkey loads on their website about $74.99 for a box of 5 , which is pretty steep but, nearly tolerable if ya get a nice wild turkey, in the oven, for $15 bucks. These yard sale style balloon takedowns with a $400K dollar Sidewinder missile, F-22's on standby, pretty tough on the budget. Gonna have to pass these cost over runs along back to china, just to stay keep an even tab.

Yeah, cost to get & operate a F16 and have it squirt about $3,000 worth of 20mm Vulcan vs a $216,000,000 F22 and now 3 Sidewinders at $300,000 each.
And a 3rd balloon shootdown over Canada, again an F22 with a Sidewinder.

This is a fair question. Why sidewinder vs the 20mm....
Think the F-22 was at 58,000 elevation possibly near it's max and the balloon was even higher elevation orbit

Supposedly a balloon like these can be riddled like swiss cheese and still stay afloat. The sidewinder had some frag tip that exploded big tears in it.
