Unusual Norma bullets

I was given a box of 100 .257 dia. 160 grain bullets today. Was told it was a small run for a new cartridge Called .257 Condor, circa 1960. Does anyone reload for this round?

A 160 gr bullet in a 257 must be a very long bullet. I believe to would require a very fast twist to stabilize.

I shoot a 160 gr. Matrix VLD bullet in my 6.5 PRC that has a 1-7.5" twist barrel. The .257 is very close to the .264 in diameter. I would think the 1 in 7.5" would do it - and certainly a 1-7" twist would be enough. I will say that it may not make sense to work up a load for just 100 bullets that are no longer available. BTW - never heard of the 257 Condor.

Have you measured them?
You sure they aren't 6.5mm and the bore is being quoted?
I recall the 6.5mm was once referred to as .256".
