Y'all must tuck it in your sock huh? A 300 PRC with a ti action, carbon barrel and a 20oz stock? I must be getting soft because that sounds like it's going to chip some teeth lol
I have that rifle, the only diff is the action, I went with defiance anti. Put a good 4 port brake and it recoils less than a 270.

Proof is my vote. The cost is my only concern. Brown I heard has had problems in the past but know they stand by there products and have been makings them for a long time. Check out there current reviews. The others I haven't heard of them. I also like Ag Composite privateer at 24oz. Good luck with your build.

I have a few Manners EH2's. They make for light rifles. If shooting off a bench, they have been good. If from the prone, not so much. Much like an older traditional stock.

McMillan's Game Wardens/Scout are also pretty light. Some of the ones mentioned are ultralight stocks. My Brown's Precision has a crack in the action bedding area near the trigger. Just not enough sturdy material in there. It is not the Pounder. Weight is the same as the EH2s at about 30 oz.

My next stock anything will have an adjustable cheek piece. Something to consider whatever you decide if you plan on shooting at distance from the prone.
