You obviously don't have any experience with tss. Those magblends are to tss what Remington nitros we're to magblends.I would put the Magnum Blends from Hevishot
against most any other shell on the market
TSS is an entirely different ballpark, if not sport. A #9 TSS weighs the same as a #5 lead shot, is much harder, does not deform, does not lose velocity, patterns better, penetrates better. It is almost 3x the density of steel shot.I would put the Magnum Blends from Hevishot
against most any other shell on the market
Affinity 20, carlsons .568 and also encore 20 with jebs, I forgot the number. Both pattern really nice to 40 with nitro 5,6,7 , federal 7 tss, and Lb #5s. I'll look at my wife's jebs choke later for the sizeHas anyone used the new TSS turkey loads yet? I'm particularly interested in best patterning chokes if someone has tested them yet.
My wife's encore has a .560 jebsAffinity 20, carlsons .568 and also encore 20 with jebs, I forgot the number. Both pattern really nice to 40 with nitro 5,6,7 , federal 7 tss, and Lb #5s. I'll look at my wife's jebs choke later for the size
The Affinity 20 has been my chukar gun hunting 5-8,000' steep hills for over 5 years now and I could never go back to a 7lb+ gun. It is light, fast pointing and reliable, even without ever cleaning it. I was close to 3,000 rounds of skeet, trap, sporting clays, and hunting before I cleaned it and never had a malfunction. Great gun, even shooting 1 1/4oz 3" shells the recoil is mild so I even use it jump shooting waterfowl. If I shoot TSS I will use it for geese.M2 did good. Shot one at 42 and one at 48. Loaded Hal's Big 20XL. It put 42 in a three inch circle at 40 yds. I think next year I'm going to try an Affinity 20 as my buddy wants my M2.
Yes, I have noticed that with the 3 gobblers I have shot, they drop stone dead without a twitch or flutter.37 yards with tss # 9,s. never moved after being shot.
