Thank you! Their pan head looks pretty solid, i may have to get my hands on one to check it out

I just upgraded to the one with the lever lock which I really like.

RRS Anvil has a patent for the ARCA/pic rail dual compatibility so if you want that functionality it's the way to go. I've been happy with my Revic Hunter tripod and find it very stable for long distance shooting.

RRS Anvil 30, great for shooting off of. I have a hard time panning with spotting scope though.
