Coyote rifle build suggestions

I agree and the dang Vmax bullets are nasty !! I love them but I'm loading some of the new VT's for my 6arc and can't wait to see how that one performs. I'm only gonna put a couple of strings together just to try. I just can't wait to get my 22cm built. It'll be my first crazy small super fast caliber. I have seen a vt slung from a 6mm creedmoor disintegrate an opossum at 125yds. Talk about a wicked view through a thermal haha. Literally exploded the little fella. I've seen Vmax cartridges do the same to rabbits out to 150yds from the same rifle. Fun times
I like the VMAX's and the ELDM's. I bought some of the ELD-VT's but heard they need to be 2000fps or greater for impact velocities. If I get a chance to try them out I'll post the results.

Cool to see this thread going. I ended up going on a 224 barrel buying spree and am going to end up with two 22 creed bolt gun builds, and a 22 creed upper for my AR10 lower. I'll have a 7, 7.7 and 8 twist, all between 16" and 18"

Looking at the 77 TMK, 85.5 Berger and 88 ELDM for the bolt guns, and I have a large stash of old 73 gr AMAX for the AR upper.

Got a Thunderbeast Ultra 5 and a Polonium K for suppressor options.

With all of the reported medium and big game successes with 224, I'll be taking one of the bolt guns for whitetail as well next year.

Thanks for all the input guys!

Anyone built a slow-twist 22 CM for 50-60 grainer's? Better off just doing a 22-250, 22-250 AI, or Swift if I know I want to use lighter bullets? Thanks
Easily done - but be aware that many states have minimum bullet weight requirements for 22 cal centerfires. 'The heavies' qualify it for big game use. Under about 65 grains - it's a dedicated varmint rifle.

I like the .223 for a calling rifle. Most shots are within 200 yards from my experience and a bunch of those are under 100 yards. My current is a suppressed Howa mini action. I also don't care about losing brass when they melt into the snow. I can go to the range and get LC brass free. I've got a lifetime supply all processed and weight sorted.

Tikka makes a 22-250 1-8 twist and that's about as easy as it gets. Mine shoots 52 grainers and up very well. Probably shoots lighter bullets than that too I just haven't tried.

I also use a .243 when it's windy as well as a fast twist 22-250 AI. I really like my 22-250 AI. Not hide friendly if that's your thing.

I think the 22 creedmore would be the easy button. I just have a ton of 22-250 brass.

77 TMK from Banish 30 Gold suppressed 223 bolt gun. Deer dropped on its shadow at 235 yards.
