And for that matter, what was the .30-06 that the bad guy had in "Dirty Harry" that was not admissible as evidence? I'm thinking it might have been a Model 70. I'm also pretty sure the bad guy had a Walther P-38 before Clint sent him down the river!Joe Kidd with Robert Duval & Clint Eastwood was a good one. Eastwood does some long range rifle work with a bolt action in that one. He dials his scope and takes out a bad guy out upon a ridge. I've always wondered what kind of bolt action he was using.
