Best War and Action movies.

Apocalypse Now

But not for it being a realistic war movie or anything, but for the scene with the playmates. The one with two pistols ... hot dog! Of course, the idea of having a rogue colonel somewhere up river brainwashing people and killing everything in site was kind of arousing as well. Seriously though, all the movies listed so far are all great, but I have a particular affinity for Band of Brothers.

Reading all those movie titles made me think of them and not one was a bad movie but I could not remember the names until I read them.
My dad was in the Korean war but would not talk about it unless he had a case of cold Schlitz beer.The story was not at all like the movies.
