To flute or not to flute?

I personally love the look of fluting. However shilen seems to be against fluting. I have personally shied away from their barrels because of it.

Got a Lilja ordered and Gunsmith already has it on my action. Fluting is ordered and having it threaded and Nitride finished. Will definitely post pics when it is done.

I'm all for the fluting. Check out Bug Holes they will flute the barrel and then sent it back to your gunsmith and have them chamber the rifle and finish the build. My next fluted barrel will be a spiral hex fluted.
