As usual. 80.0 grs. A RL26 182HHT group half the size of best group with 80.0 grs. H1000. Chrono speed RL26 3287 fps. H1000 3056 fps. Almost exactly same as in Weatherby Vangaurd. Ladder test on both powders. RL26 half size. No pressure in RL26 until 81.0 grs.. Very little. H1000 got little pressure at 80.5 grs. I can't beat the RL26 in 3 calibers. Was nice cool day and wind out of west. I shoot west to east. Perfect. I was routing for H1000. In Oct. thu Dec. I'm not worried about heat

I bought an 8 pounder of RL26 in 2019 then 2 one pounds after. If I knew , I'd of bought all I could. I haven't see any since 2019. I just broke into 8 pounder. In 2019 I cringed when paid $264 for the 8 pounder
I haven't given up on H1000 but in all the calibers and rifles I have and used, it's never been my go to powder. If I didn't have any RL26 It might be. Retumbo as been my go to powder in 300 RUM and 7 Rem mag. I need to try in 300 wm. In RUM N570 with 215 Berger Hybrid is tops. What my CDS dial is made for. With old factory barrel Retumbo and Barnes 180 TSX and TTSX was awesome.
