Is UM the name of the company or abbreviated?Wait for the UM bottom metal. It will be worth it.
I missed Tac-O's post. Sorry.Wait for the UM bottom metal. It will be worth it.
That is messed up.With my Weatherby Mark Vs, the magazine isn't the limiting factor.
It's the length of the opening for the ejection port.
I can seat out to 3.630" and fit in the magazine.
I can't eject a live round though.
I have to pull the bolt out.
Which involves squeezing the trigger.
Accident waiting to happen.
I load to 3.360" and can eject a live round.
Besides the mag well do you need to modify the bolt stop ?Yup. 3.35 is about the longest you can fit in any Tikka with the factory mags.
Unknown munitions will be releasing a bottom metal and mag that will allow 3.55 or so. I think it's supposed to be around August when it comes out.
I don't think it will require any feed ramp modification. It includes a replacement bolt stop releaseBesides the mag well do you need to modify the bolt stop ?
I just read up on drop in except bolt release. I like that.I don't think it will require any feed ramp modification. It includes a replacement bolt stop release
Yes Unknown Munitions. Is UM the name of the company or abbreviated?
Thanks .
I'm trying to think of the name of the company that I got bottom metal for my other T3 from. It wasn't for a longer mag though. This is only my 3rd rifle with detachable mags. 2 Tikkas and a Cooper mod. 52. I'm not a big fan of them. Where do you carry an extra mag when you need it fast ? I like just pulling rounds off my buttstock.
It's sold. Thanks for the idea though !
I like that. Thanks!Yes Unknown Munitions.
I keep a 2 round holder on my stock just forward of the ejection port.
