Tikka barrel Removal - not smooth as could be, now what?

Hindsight is 20/20 but everyone in our shop knows to stop when they feel a barrel or muzzle brake start to gall. We make our barrels, brakes and receivers out of stainless which is prone to galling if anti-seize isn't used. From time to time, we will get a barrel or brake that starts to seize. There is almost no chance of getting it off and saving it so our procedure is to cut the barrel off just forward of the lug, then machine it out of the receiver from the inside out until the only thing left are the threads of the barrel tenon in the receiver. These can then be picked out and the receiver saved and cleaned up.
