Yes, I have seen that a couple uber liberal representatives from a couple uber liberal districts have grandstanded for their constituencies by introducing ridiculous bills with absurd provisions like registering all guns, and passing psychological exams and paying yearly fees just for the privilege to shoot, that will NEVER PASS Now, some milder bills that are limited to things like expanded background checks, and possibly even bans on "assault weapons" might gain some traction and may even pass. But even if they do, that will hardly "take away all our gun rights" or "make recreational shooting disappear."
This is headed for a lock and nuke for politics.Sooo... What is an "assault weapon?" And, what if my recreational shooting includes guns that look like them? Kinda sounds like I will not be doing any recreational shooting with them, then.
Are you wanting a nuke and a lock?I ask a simple question. Since the governments own studies show for example, that you are FAR more likely to be killed by a hammer, a knife, or in a car crash, WHY exactly, are they so focused on getting rid of semi-auto rifles and "high" capacity magazines?? Why? What purpose does that serve for them? Why focus on those items for expensive political maneuvering, and very expensive potential implementation? Why? What purpose would that serve? (Again, PROVEN NOT for public safety.)
Think about it....

They are not ever going to catch up, with the bills before congress it will become increasingly harder for companies making reloading supplies to operate. Ammunition is on a fast track to be registered as the Constitution does not say anything about that and the left is using this to quash firearms entirely. When the citizens let the government start on firearms restriction there is no end, they used the ploy of security but any revocation of any right is tyranny. People better buy as much as you can find and keep it to trade for the type they use or sell before it is all off the market.I don't know about you guys but I cant find anything for reloading. For a while I could find a few items at small town stores. But now nothing. The gun shows I found a few 50 rd packs of primers they wanted 45$ for a 50 pack. Anyone know of a source for 6.5 PRC cases? When do you think they will start catching up?

They have already introduced those bills. If you don't think they want to disarm the law abiding you either haven't listened to what they say or read what they say or are willfully blind. They want to ban the most popular rifle in America. H.R. 8 passed the House.Yes, I have seen that a couple uber liberal representatives from a couple uber liberal districts have grandstanded for their constituencies by introducing ridiculous bills with absurd provisions like registering all guns, and passing psychological exams and paying yearly fees just for the privilege to shoot, that will NEVER PASS Now, some milder bills that are limited to things like expanded background checks, and possibly even bans on "assault weapons" might gain some traction and may even pass. According to Eienstein's new bill in the Senate, the definition of an "Assault Rifle" has changed again. You all need to read this one carefully. I can't recite them all but some interesting parts of the definition was the firearm had to have just one of the following:Sooo... What is an "assault weapon?" And, what if my recreational shooting includes guns that look like them? Kinda sounds like I will not be doing any recreational shooting with them, then.

I've been shooting the hell outta my pellet rifles to get the trigger time in. I'm about out. I had 1,000's and 1,000 for when I used to take my old Boy Scout Troop shooting. I think I have 2 tins left so maybe 250.Actually you know its bad when you cannot fibd .177 pellets! Are you kidding me?
I think here before too long that Hammer and Berger are going to have to release new high BC pellets. Maybe Hornady and nosler will hop into the mix as well, and everyone will endlessly debate whose pellets kill better at "extreme" extended ranges - like 45 yards.I've been shooting the hell outta my pellet rifles to get the trigger time in. I'll shoot it till it's gone and move on to bb's. LOL
