There was never a Mini Ruger M77 action correct?

We touched base on Sako having XS S M L LA, or something of the sort like 5 different action lengths to suit cartridge families.....

I see the M77/357 and 77/44 magnum with rotary mags are still a short action casting with a double rear scope ring boss, maybe the gun is a shorter action but doesn't look so

Kind of like the Browning A-Bolt 22, its still built on the 2.800" action (or thereabouts). The bolt is full size like.

I see some American brand rifles have mag spacer blocks; so to me your carrying around a physically larger rifle that necessary with dead weight.

I like buying American when I can.

I never had a Sako they look nice but Idk if I can warm up to them.

Me too, as we all should.

I purchased a used SAKO M995 TRGS (an older model—I do not think they make them anymore) in .300 WM in 2003, and it is one of my most accurate rifle purchases. The action is buttery smooth, and the trigger is nice and crisp. The only thing I did was have a custom muzzle brake done. I harvested an MT bull elk with it at 931 yards. My only issue is that it does not have readily available aftermarket support.
