Yes it made National News but not in print in either the Toldeo Blade, the Detroit Free Press or the Monroe Evening News, we get them all. I don't think AP covered the story in their wire services but, AP is extremely pro-Obama, thus pro Coumo or whatever his name is....

I see he was off 'hiding' in the city. Hope he didn't get mugged...lol What a puss.

The whole fiasco is as raw as yesterdays carp IMO.

Our governor (a Republican) BTW is very non-commital about any state regulation of any firearm. Michigan derives a lot of revenue from hunting and permits alone, not counting the associated tourism. We already have tough gun laws here, It's hard to get a CCW, I know, I have one and it took 4 months.

This is a clip from an email from someone in one of the clubs I belong to. He was able to get inside the legislature building before the rally and directly lobby several elected officials.

"I definitely agree that there were over 10,000 there. It took us 1.5 hours to get through security. On the one street at the end of the rally, there were 15 buses along the curb as far as I could see and count and they were doubled all the way and tripled part of the way. There were 3 streets all about the same. That would be about 150 buses and there were others cruising around trying to get into position. If the Albany police say 185 buses, I'd agree and at 56 per bus that's over 10K. Then add in all the car pools. It HAS to be the beginning, not the end. I attached a picture. JD

On Feb 28th"We the People" – Grassroots made history: We stuck together and won morethan most people are aware of. Our 2AR (2nd Amendment Rights) were saved on arainy day in Albany.Even the media had to concede this movement is massive (a majority of theproductive folks) and encompasses citizens from all walks of life. Media estimatesof the crowd are from 5000 to 10,000 – we were much more in numbers. Just thebuses; there were 185 buses registered (as we were told by Albany police) – which means over 9,000 cameby bus. (BTW- our network bus count is 105)Our numbers may have even exceeded 20,000 – yup that's possible. Those thatattended know that those in the park (which may have numbered 5000 to 10,000)were but a piece of the many 1,000s more that flooded the CapitolBuilding, jammed the LOB and theentire Capitol Plaza complex. Truth be know – there weremore people in the buildings than in the park – we know that is fact.

So – WE changed "their"plan with a massive pre-rally with united chants of NO Amendment – REPEAL REPEAL. YES – WE – "2AR Grassroots" changedpolitical history. We spoke loud and clear and "they" had to listen. After thePre-Rally the GOP marched their speaker soldiers onto the tent covered stage –guess what – no talk of amendments. Their message to the people was changed to REPEAL – NO compromise.

I also heard that the NY State Supreme Court (not the top court in NY) has given the State until the end of April to prove the Constitutionality of the SAFE act or they will issue and injunction.

Now we have to convince the Federal Government not to trample the Constitution in their quest for Socialism, not that we want Socialism in the first place.

Agreed, more to follow. This needs to happen in Washington State and in Commierado. We need to speak it loud and clear. We are ****ed and we have had enough. Keep fighting up there in New York! We are all watching you and writing letters on your behalf. Keep up the good work!!!

It's awesome that friends and relatives of NYS and those who occasionally travel through here, know that our state is safer when we are armed. We all should understand that this 2nd amendment strength is needed Nationally. When I travel to other states, I'd like to know you people can back up your police too. Were the first defense until the police arrive on the scene. Being responsible and strong against crime is a God given and constitutional right we deserve as free citizens of America.

I think we need to start a resolution process to have the Governor removed from office. He is a future Hitler of this country. I really think he is dangerous to Nyer's and shouldn't be in politics. Senator Schumer is the same. We don't need these people making laws for themselves.

Also the NYSP (guys on the road) are working to remover there union reps and get the results they want 95% of them are on our side. if you know a trooper make them aware of it. They have to build in a network to get the amount of signatures that are require in 30 days.
