The Right Bullet for 6.5-300 Weatherby Mag

I tried 8133 and us869...so far...I have some RL33 also
H1000 (baseline) to HUS869 were powder recommendations by Berger tech support when I called them for the 156 for .264 WM. @madman at 3200 FPS and @Mike from Texas at 3300 FPS are bad arse set-ups. As with anything else, YMMV. Good luck!

Would H50BMG be a good choice for the 6.5-300 with 150gr range of bullets?
Any of the slow powders should work. US869 seems to be a good choice according to this article. They also show some loads for H50BMG that should give you a starting point.

I don't have specific load data for 150, but I use US869 with the Berger 156. If I didn't have it, I would certainly give H50BMG a try.

I'm going to get some of those 124 Hammers, my 26 Nosler 7.5 twist 26" with N570 is at 3300+ with 156 Bergers, I have tried the H50BMG, it didn't perform well in my rifle. Retumbo and LRT were the runner-up's to the N570
Now to figure out what faster powders to start off with for the Hammers.

I would try the n570. Start where you left off with the Bergers and work up from there to find pressure.
