Try IMR8133. Just worked up a load for my buddy's 6.5-.300Wby w. 130 VLDs for Coues, Mulies, and pronghorn.

I loaded some 140 NABs in another rifle at 3342fps with same powder.

But, if I had at least a 1:8", I would be running the 156 myself.

I thought the lab radar had a velocity limit of 3400, but I've never owned one so what do I know.

It's either 3800 or 3900. I've had it pick up 3700'ish when shooting my 220 Swift.

Yes it is. I have hit 3950 with my 22-250AI through a regular chronograph with sky screens.

My lab radar has picked up shots over 3900. Won't pick em up over 4K.

For better or worse I often find myself more worried about the bullet coming apart on a close shot than the reduced expansion on a long shot. Depending on where and how you hunt, I might stick with the 127 LRX load you said you had.

Wondering is that bullet to soft for that kind of speed , was also things of 140 berger hunter

There are gel tests that favor the 140 Berger over the 156.



And there are favorable hunting results with the 156, such as in the video below.

You are gonna need something in the H4350 burn rate, set you neck interference to 3.5-.4 thousands and seat the Hammer to the last PDR groove, a LEE FCD will help a bunch in tuning as well if you have one, give me a holler if you need anything 812-264-6183
