Pro tip fellas: you don't need to tell everyone what you can't afford, LOL. Guys also shouldn't feel the need to comment on something they have no experience with . Seriously though, if guys are shooting as much as most people on the internet claim, spending $3k - $4k on a one-time purchase is not bad at all - especially when that item is arguably the best on the planet. Now, if you aren't shooting much, then I could appreciate how the price could be a deterrent.

I certainly haven't owned every optic out there, but the Theta is without question better than current $2k offerings (including Nightforce ATACRs ). The only thing I've had that rivals the Theta is Zero Compromise.

Pretty sure I'm going to pass. I'll give it till the end of the week to decide. Posts in this thread, others like it, and statements like Paul made... have no place in a civilized society. How easily people marginalize me, my family, and the companies that produce products we carry. So many negative and hostile people on this site anymore. It's become nothing but a race to the bottom. Whoever can be the most confrontational wins. Such a sad display. So many people so certain of their views, yet how many rounds have they fired in the last year? How many videos have they produced? How many shooters have they helped? How many products have they invented? Have they done anything at all aside from sit at their screen and rip people down on forums every day?

Those of you that watch them do this, and disagree with it, but say nothing... are at fault too. You're more than willing to benefit from the contributions that content creators and inventors make, but you're unwilling to draw the ire of the negative loud mouths... so you'll sacrifice all that is good to spare yourselves the irritation of confrontation.

If I can't talk about the products we carry or methods we instruct on, without this kind of garbage taking place, then I guess there's no reason for me to hang around.

I have no expectation that anything I've typed will change anything. If it could, then it wouldn't have to be written. It's not my job to remove the bitterness from your hearts. It's certainly not my job to sit around here being belittled and watching the products we carry be attacked by people that haven't even held one in their hands. My contributions to this discipline are easy to find and stand on their own. They don't require defense, and I certainly don't have to explain my dedication to my purpose to hostile illogical people.

If you don't see another post from me after this, at least you know why. If I don't respond to your PM's, at least you'll know why. Maybe I'll check back in a year or two and see if Len has been able to teach people some common courtesy. Those of you that aren't busy polluting your lives with hate every day, you know my phone number.

Orkan - I'm sorry you feel this way. As WildRose stated this is a discussion forum. It will include opinions and individual perspectives. I as well as a large number of others that are interested in learning about new products and options in the hobby. I respect everyone's perspectives but do not nessarily agree with all of them. I dismiss the ones I disagree with without feeling it necessary to lash out. I don't think you will find a better place to engage with people that may have interest in the products you are trying to sell.

There always has to be that ONE or several that can't stand someone actually having a very good product to sell. This original POST was about The New Tangent Theta 5-25x56 and Primal Rights providing information on this fine scope. THATS ALL.
Sure Primal Rights also has it for sale and if anyone of us had the opportunity to have a business that could sell these they sure would.
Yes this fine optic is expensive as well as other optics are.
My point is that if you do not like a product, Can't afford the Product or CAN and don't like it. Keep the negative comments to yourself. I personally am in the process of buying some more optics and like information that is posted on this Forum. Was excited to hear about the New Vortex GEN III and whether to get that one or stay with NF. Now I read information the Tangent. It is helping me decide between the three manufactures now.
When someone is taking the time out to give us a review and information we should at least listen. If you are not interested then don't read the threads. There is an IGNOE button. On thing I can't tolerate is people then putting personal attacks out on the OP.
I was taught at an early age that if you do not have something GOOD to say then say NOTHING.
This was a GOOD post originally then we had some people put their NEGITIVE comments in and I am sure a lot of LRH members are on this Post now.
I think that some members should take time out and reflect on the way they respond to Posts. We wouldn't end up with threads like in this post and make for more enjoyable reading and getting more information I am sure that if some members want to post something they will think twice now. They wouldn't want to get attacked like Greg was.

I don't think anyone was hating on the OP personally, or even the product. Some were just discussing whether it was worth the extra $$$. To some it will be, and to some it won't. That's ok, no need to be sensitive. New choices are good, so is development. The quality of cheaper scopes comes from innovation and development of premium scopes that eventually become standardized and common. We can have different opinions; this is not a cult (or is it? ).
