I was there 69-70-71, stayed an extra 6 months, missed both Bob Hope shows at Eagle, was sick the first one and was in Japan on R&R for the 2nd one.Been there. done that....."Eagle Dustoff" 70/71

was around the 220th Aviation, BirdDogs and the 131rst Grumman NightHawks. Was dumb enough to fly missions once in awhile in BirdDogs, New how to fly, so the Warrant Officers liked having someone that could get them back if they were hit.Been there. done that....."Eagle Dustoff" 70/71
Know exactly what you mean.
