Nice shooting. DRT. They don't run very far when you shoot them in the spine . Save a lot of searching through that thick Texas brush, and no wasted shoulder meat.

That ain't no lie.The only reason I had that lightweight jacket on was to put my ammo pouch in it's side pocket.I think the low that morning was 68 degrees with highs in the mid 80's.Glad I'm not the only "blue jeans and tshirt" hunter Good deer!
That load will certainly kill!!! That Reloader 26 really works great with the heavier bullets in the 30-06.Used the 30-06 in the south for 30 years. Have many other guns but the old stand bye is just hard to beat. Ammo probably the easiest to find and very easy to load for any situation. Just a great caliber.
used 4350 for a very long time with great results and lately been using to rl 26 with 180. Great result there.
