The 25 sst...up and running

My barrel didn't speed up until 100 rounds so it might.
All 3 of those are great powders to run with the heavier bullets

Even at 2925fps it's nice to get 26" 25creedmoor performance with a 18" Bbl

My 25 SST loves Bergers 135 and H1000(59.0) @ 3110 with CCi BR2, not the fastest but consistent.
This was a 300 yard group, best part it's repeatable.

Yes! I am running suppressors now so really appreciate the higher performance with shorter barrel. My last long range gun was a 6.5 creed with a 24" barrel, so this will outshoot that and in a easy handling package

I found a full can of H1000 in my powder cabinet... I think I'll give that a try as well.

My RL-26 loads all shot under 1" at 100 yards. Not a lot of super tight groups but none big, either. Seems very promising.

Really need to get out and grab some Bergers too to see if this barrel likes them better.

Haven't messed with the 25sst in awhile but had some time to bring it out today. I Was shooting this afternoon standing using a tall bench bi pod and rear bag trying to get some rounds through the barrel since the rechamber and barrel chop. Today I was shooting my go to mild load of H1000 at 58gr. I'm going to shoot it a little more then try my n570 load. I'm thinking with n570 it will push the 131s around 3000fps. But glad to see the h1000 load still shooting well even in terrible conditions.

Helped my buddy get his daughter her first big game animal this morning with my 25sst on a depredation hunt. 310yds with the 133 Berger and she made it about 30 yards before piling up. Punched the cow in the shoulder quartering away a little and it was mush inside with no exit.

She was getting a little discouraged from the hot days of glassing and not seeing much but now that all that hard work paid off, she's hooked! Jumped right in taking it apart and packing it out. It was pretty cool to be a part of it and I can't wait until my daughter is old enough now!
