Terminal Ascent Bullets?

If they would just change that 30 cal to 7mm that would of peeked much more interest. 7mm 175 gr. Makes much more sense.

They probably will make the 175 , 155 should be more than enough bullet for anything other than the Grizzly or Brown bears .

Anyone know anything about availability of Federal's Terminal Ascent Bullets?

Been looking for them and are back ordered or overdue.

Just heard about them from a friend and would really like to try them out. Looks like the best solution to all ranges large animal hunting I like (elk, moose, brown bear!)

I have tried to find these in stock and gave up, since the Biden days began no luck on finding a lot of new tech hunting ammunition. Was lucky to just get the buffallo bore for my 375 ruger.

I was notified by Federal about a month ago that the 7mm 155gr TA were in stock and I was able to get 2 boxes.

But I also have stash of pulled bullets as well. I just got my new 280AI build and did some load development and shot some today- so far not so good. I'm using 4831 SC. Ima give it another whirl..

They've never been available as a reloading component although it's advertised. The factory ammo is MIA as well except for sponsored pro hunters and TV shows. I've lost interest.

Swamp Lord, what powder did your seem to like? What jump did you find effective? I bought a ton of these when available and didn't get great results in groupings. Went back to the Accubond.

I'd love to try something that works!

I just saw .308 and .284 bullets in several Anchorage AK area stores in the reloading section. So they must be shipping them to stores because they weren't there a few weeks ago.

I think the 155/175 in 284 are still made. Not sure about the 155/277 bullets. Shows sportsman's warehouse sells them

Federal website shows only 136 gr TA in .277 and 155 gr TA in .284.

The older terminal ascent bullets were .277/155 grain. Haven't seen them recently. Maybe can be bought in loaded ammo tho.
