Any Leupolds or Steiners you like in this range? There's no need to deal with issues and limitations that both of those scopes have.
Get a Nightforce NX8, ATACR or Zeiss V6 depending on your budget constraints.

And those that turn into turds for some, never do for a multitude of others......There's another Thread on this Forum where a member (Huntnful) tried Leupold Mark 5 scope about 2 years ago.
Testing the Mark 5
Been on a bit of a scope mission the last six months. Since its the off season, it's time to tinker haha. Just testing out new scopes basically. I started with a VX6HD 4-24X52. Never did find anything wrong with it honestly. Great glass, tracked and RTZ perfect. Kind of a mushy turret though...www.longrangehunting.com
"One scope was MOA but had MIL internals and I had to send it back twice to get it fixed, and the other two eventually lost zero by 2". And I've personally seen two totally fail on buddy's guns that needed to be sent back."
He sold his Mark 5s after they failed internally and/or lost zeros.
Most guys don't use scopes long enough to experience and identify the chronic failures that only become apparent over time, with a sufficient number of shots fired. I identify reliable scopes by noting the lack of reported failures. Not by the terrific, best scope ever, Posts on this and other Forums.
What are great scopes for some turn into turds, over time, for others.
