I've been very happy with my Griffin sportsman 338 ultralight. It's got some rapid fire restrictions, but its 12oz and rated for 24" 338lapua/300rum and can go shorter as case capacity goes down. Check them if you can. It's also fully user serviceable so you can use it on rimfire guns and be able to clean it out

I know you didn't ask me but I will say that I have killed deer at less than 100yds with others at that distance or less. The deer nearby didn't run and only raised their heads for a few seconds.
Another time I shot a pronghorn at 321yds with another buck less than 50yds from him. The neighboring buck walked toward the dead one soon as he went down.
The last straw was when I killed a triple of coyotes in around 30 seconds at 75yds. This wasn't with some small 223 semi auto but with a tikka 300WSM and silencerco omega300

Maybe the best multi caliber Hybrid suppressor on the market and it's the one I use the most; SilencerCo Hybrid 46. Handles all major pistol and rifle calibers. I use it on 9mm, 45 ACP, 10mm handguns and 5.56,.300 blackout, .308. 6.5 CR, .300 PRC. 338 Norma Magnum and Lapua and 458 SOCOM. In all my years of calling before I got my first suppressor just 9 years ago, I never killed a quad. I've killed 7 quads, missed a couple of other opportunities for a couple other quads, and a six pack since getting my suppressor. Yes, I've been learning how to handle coyotes better in that same time, BUT I still think it speaks volumes about how a suppressor aids in killing multiples.
BUT, with that said, there still are coyotes that react to a suppressed gun shot as if a cannon went off. I believe they are the coyotes that have had a near miss or two with bullets whizzing by near them.

Not to crap on your thread, but I would be very weary of Silencer Central. I have an SOT, so usually this is a 2-3 week process at most. I started this process with them in early October, and the communication has been horrible. The process has been horrible, and I have been getting the runaround for the last 3 months. First they blame ATF for the delay, but I received 3 other suppressors in this time frame, then they blame the manufacture for custom cerakote I did not ask for, and then communication stopped. This is my first and last experience with them, as I still have not received the suppressor.

That is very interesting! I have been there at least 10 times, ordered online over 6 times and had several orders that have been through the BATFE and never had anything but excellent service and experience. Everyone I have spoken to that deal with them and everytime I see them at a local event, everyone has the same experience. I also know folks with an SOT that deal with them and are very happy. I have to go their direction in the next day or 2, would you like me to stop by and check on it for you?

If you are not really planning on big game hunting, just plinking or varmint hunting you don't need to get a "do all" can. I did buy a do all and although I love it, I should have gotten a less expensive. 30 cal. can, because i was never really impressed with it on the 223s and ended up buying a 223 can and a 45 can, which I new i was probably going to do anyway.
I have the omega & harvester 300, and 2 of the hybrid 46. Cant really notice much sound difference between them but i always use the omega for hunting, because its the smallest and lightest. I just picked up the nomad L for target gun use, but havent tested yet to compare. Having so many i would chose something small and light as others have suggested, my next is the nomad titanuim which will be real similar to the ultra 7 in size and weight.
