I just sold a Lone Eagle in 30-06 12" barrel. The gun burned more powder out of the barrel than in it. Looked cool at night foot and a half flame.

Had a Savage Stryker with 14" barrel in 7-08. Lot more accurate after 100yds and flame not as bad.

Never did crono just observation. If it where me I would pay attention to Ernie. It Will save you alot of money in long run. BELIVE YOU ME
