Suggestions for new barrel for Mark V Weatherby

I personally prefer cut rifled barrels. Brux,Krieger, Bartlien, channlyn, and rock,are all good.I had a couple bad experiences with buttln rifled barrels.

I re-barreled my Wby 338-378 with a medium palma contour Bartlein and left it full length (it's a boat anchor). I had to sand a little bit off of the stock to free-float, but not too much. Very accurate rifle.

Rock are very long lead time. Brux and Krieger are my top 2 . I had a channlyn and it was as an accurate barrel as I've ever seen. Shot in the 2,s easy on my 257 wby.I wore that bugger out and their wasn't a deer safe inside 5.

Re-barreled three Mark V's...300 RUM, 300 Dakota, and 22-250. All Brux all shoot great!

Cut barrels are my preference as well. Have Brux and Chanlynn. Both tack drivers.

As far as button, Hart is hard to beat.

There are lots of great barrels, have a Lilja on one of my Mark V's very good results with it.

Who rebarreled your rifle ? I have a mark v 7mm WM- tried everything known to man to get it to shoot--NOT.
