Stock Paint

Q, I've painted several stocks with a good quality enamel with several coats of urethane matte clear to protect the paint. The two I still have look like new.
I do the same thing, takes a few weeks for the paint to fully cure and harden. After that it holds up real good. Personally, I like the looks of a rifle that has wear marks.
 
There's a million ways to go, even more if you you stencils. The battleworn looks well used. i guess they call it "to hell and back" now


 
I've use rattle can and used a matt clear and baked its held up for a couple years and looks new still. And they are used dandy near weekly.
