Some .300 WM rifles.

roninflag, Beretta USA has the Sako TRG 42 listed for a suggested retail price of $2425 chambered in the 300 win or the338 lapua. go to Beretta's website. I just got my Tikka, and I am very impressed so far, but I have to admit that I have not put it through the testing that many of you people would have (not a lot of places to shoot over 500 yards in Mn).

Thats what my 300WM looks like different scope! And its 2 for 2! Sendero's Most shoot better than the shooter!

Option 2 is a full blown custom(only factory part on it is a ADL trigger gaurd) 270AM Ray Gun......Which will be my play toy next year!

Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with any of the suggestions I read.

I bought a .300 WM 9 years ago, custom built by Hill Country Rifles. Left handed Win. Mdl 70 Action. It is a .50 MOA rifle with the right ammo. They told me what to shoot, I wanted to try something else, they were right! Worth every penny I paid, I have taken some great deer and thus far with prob. 30 + deer shot only 1 was needed a second shot.
Come to find out he was dead where he stood, I just didn't want to take any chances.

I put a Nikon BDC Reticle Scope on my rifle to help with Long distance shooting, even though my longest shot on a deer was 427 yards. Every edge you can give yourself fills the freezer.
Here's a link to where I got my rifle FYI.

Got a question here. I'm getting a .300 WM, but can't figure out any of the good rifles. I would really appreciate some recommendations on the best (in your opinion) .300 WM rifles. Don't worry about the shooting or terrain or anything, just think about what rifle would be best for shooting antelope, big elk, huge deer, maybe the occasional moose, all at around 500-700 yards. Thanks again.
What's your budget? Do you want to go custom or factory?

Generally it's very hard to beat the Remington Sendero's for out of the box accuracy factory guns so that's where I'd start.

If you want to go with a custom gun, then Len's got some good deals here through the website.

PS, check the classifide ads here. There are several nice deals on 300wm's there. One I'd call dirt cheap in fact.

I'd be all over that one and am still pondering it, but I really want to make a 300 Rum my next gun.

Price doesn't matter, weight can be up to about 30 pounds. Class doesn't matter either.
Just remembered this one.

Contact CZ-USA and see if they are still selling the "Ultimate Hunting Rifle" package.

It's a sub MOA .300 WM with a night force.

In the picture below I picked one up and shooting free hand and was dead centering a 740yd Bull with cheap remington factory ammo. Hit it dead center with all 19 shots; all we had in the box of ammo.

I'd never picked the rifle up before... .

Here's what I am doing if it helps you decide.

My wife bought me a Sendero SF II 300 win mag for Christmas last year. I loaded some ammo and it shot well for a factory rifle. It would shoot 3/4 inch at 100 yards most of the time. I wanted something better. Right now I ordered me a Mcmillian Remington hunter stock and a Jewell trigger. After that comes in I plan on sending it to a smith and have him install the Stock,Trigger and Scope mounts. He is also going to Accurize my rifle. The point that im trying to make is you can pick up a 300 win mag Sendero and if it doesn't shoot the way you want it to then send it to a good gunsmith. You might get a Sendero that shoots very well and be happy with it. I would stay with the Remington 700 because you can find a ton of aftermarket parts and most any riflesmith will do a good job if you do your research and hire and good one.
