"soft bedding" for forend pressure?

OK guys this is what a Proff. of physics has to say about a adding a muzzle brake & effects on accurracy..."Assuming that the brake is screwed on in a continuation of the center plane of the barrel, the harmonics will not be adversly affected in any way. However the brake will surely change the way the barrel vibrates...(dont think so? alter the length of a tuning fork) Now the vibration will change to perhaps a quicker oscillation...or longer sine as the bullets exits...so the velocity may be either reduced or increased to capture the prior "lull" in vibration at time of exit or, you may have to alter seating depth of bullet to recapture the sweet spot. Now if your lucky you will still be able to get the bullets in the magazine assuming your shooting a repeater..sooo yep.. it does not effect the INHERENT accurracy of the barrel..However you most likley will have to fiddle with a few things in order to get it to shoot to the same level of accurracy as it did prior to installing the brake"
