Snowy Mountain Rifles Gun Porn

Ran into the 406 guys at the range again yesterday and once again they let me shoot their 406 Precision edition 308. We were smacking the 800 yard gong at will. We even watched another shooter who hasn't shot much in quite a while put a hurt on that same gong on his first shot. gun)Thanks for letting me play with your toys again fellas. It was a blast!! Anyone in the market for a new gun owes it to themselves to check out those 406 Precision edition rifles. It is near impossible to find a quality custom rifle for the price they are offering their entire package for. Check it out!!!

Hope the boys from Snowny would not mine a peek at the one I am working on. Dec gun photo's 031.jpg

It is on there 450 type action. 338 Norma Mag 35 degree improved. PDC ccoustom folder, plus bipod. 32 inch Benchmark Idaho taper. 1-9.5 twist. Seekins mag well .

Brake is made for RWS gunsmiting by PDC.

Still have to finish yet, but a whole lot close than earlier this year.

Hey COWBOYWHORSES, let us know how that Norma shoots! I just ordered a 338 Norma from Snowy Mountain and I am already impatient. It's going to be a long wait.

I think I hear the jeopardy song in the back ground!!! Don't worry you keep showing up to the range at the same time as us and I am sure you'll get some shooting in :D gun)

Well it is cold enough to freeze your b@##s to your leg today so I figured why not some more snwy mtn gun pics

The first two are a couple of custom 338 lapuas followed by a 6.5 wsm and a 308 paladin (their in house special) enjoy:D

I use the KISS princable.

Switch BBL 700....300 WBY, 338 Edge so far.
Brux 338, Spencer 300 wby tubes.
HD, pinned recoil lug.
Pillar and glass bedded Mc Millan A5.
NF NSX 5.5-22-56 NP-R1 with Speed dial and Zero stop.
Leupold MK IV rings.
Ken Ferral 20 MOA picitinny rail.
Harris Bipod.

I have shot both of these tubes in registered IBS 1000 yard comps and BOTH tubes won.

SORRY.I THOUGHT THIS WAS "GENERAL GUN PORN". I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DELEAT THE ENTIRE POST SO AS TO NOT HYJACK THREAD.

2nd one down is mine, and I just received it about a week ago. Still working up a load, and only put about 20 rounds down the tube so far, but what a great build thus far. I can't say enough about the great communications that Greg over at Snowy Mountains gave me over the course of my build. Very easy to work with, dead on with his timelines, and a solid product!

I can't wait to get my build going. I contacted them back in December about my 7mm mag. I am just saving the funds. Awesome rifles.
