In Volume 2 of Modern Advancements in Long Range Shooting, contributing author Nick Vitalbo states:

Sig Kilo 2400 ABS outperformed the following LRFs in testing, on the hardest to hit target (2.5' x 2.5' 20% Reflectivity):
Nearly Identical to the Vectronix Terrapin
10% Better than: Steiner Binos & Leica Geovid
20% Better than: Leica 1600
30% Better than: Sig Kilo 2000
50% Better than: Gunwerks G7 BR2
70% Better than: Bushnell Elite 1 Mile, Vortex Ranger 1500, SilencerCo Radius.

I got this info from one of Doc Beech's emails.
I do not have this book yet.

This product is in stock now (Jan 5) at Cabela's for $1499. I just saw someone mention that on another forum so I called and checked and they have stock in two of their warehouses. Mine should be here on Monday.

Just to be clear though, I am NOT cancelling my pre-order here on LRH at this time.

I guess it's just me but that seems odd that a large retailer would have them for sale before somebody who helped developed the LRF and has the ballistics software in the unit can sell it to the people that have been following all the details about it. Just odd

Man I didn't realize the sig was gonna go from a 400 dollar rangefinder to a 1500 dollar rangefinder. Is the new one really worth 1500? I was kind of hoping that the rangefinder game would get cheaper which is why I sold my terrapin but I guess I was wrong there. Anyway I will get off my soap box for that subject.

On another note is the kilo 2000 going to stay the same price and components?
