Show off your 277 wildcats

There's no love for the 270 caliber, if any of you guys have any wildcat cartridges you would like to show off with a quick picture and description post them.

The 270 winchester was one of my fist deer rifles and I'm in love with this caliber, I now own a 270, 270 wsm, and (2) 6.8spcii, and I'm looking into building a wildcat in this caliber.

Open thoughts are welcome as well but let's not turn this into a .277 vs .284 thread

Thanks guys.

Nothing fancy but it's my only wildcat thus far ...

Both beautiful rifles guys, both wildcats I have considered as well, what brass do you guys use on the 27-08 and 27-284? Lapua? Very nice wsm as well, also what bullets.

I use Lapua Palma brass for my AI, Lapua for my 270-284, and Win Brass for my WSM.
That AI has shot 28 consecutive V-bulls at 500 yds with 147g
Matrix bullets for everything

Honestly I'd rather have a 270 Sherman than the 284 case, Ive had bad luck with primers in that cartridge

Please do, and if you have pics of the rifle and cartridge, post them.

I still have the stock and metal finish to do,it's getting closer.
27 nosler (sammi spec)shoulder pushed back 100 thou from the 26,gives it a longer neck.
Borden action
Benchmark 1-9 @26"
Hi tech stock
Wyatt box in adl config
Weighs 6lb 10oz
I built this as a pack rifle,if I can ever get my hands on some matrix bullets,I'll build a heavier version as well.

Does anyone have any pics and info on the 270 Sherman shortmag? I found some old posts, but most of the pics are for the guns and not of the cartrige. I hear its a real screamer to. My winchester model 70 in 270 wsm is in need of a new bolt and maybe a new barrel.

I have 270 win ackely imp built on a 1917 enfield action. the brass easy is just 270 win fireformed. The barrel is a liteweight and easy rifle to carry on hunting. I use 270 weatherby neck sizing die for reloading the fireformed brass.lightbulb

The wildcat I have had my heart set on for a while now is a 270-284 (shehane) or ackly improved, shooting 150-175 gr bullets with a 26-28" barrel. What do you guys think? I should be able to run the bullets long and take advantage of a long action. Any one care to run some theoretical numbers? How long do you guys think the barrel would last not pushing the cartridge to hard.I think 3200 should be easy with 175 gr bullets and shouldn't be to hard on barrel life, when used more for hunting. 150 LRAB would be screamers to.
