I'm considering having a barrel spun up for a 28 Sherman Magnum. I'd like to keep the rifle short, say 22" barrel max.
Does anyone have experience with the 28 Sherman Magnum at that length? What kind of velocities are you seeing with heavy bullets 180+ grain?
I'd like to find an average so I can go over the drop tables and energy tables. I'd like to see if it is worth it, over say having a 22" 300 PRC spun instead.
