Shooting 80lb + ???

Common deal but if you can shoot it do it! Not a lot of people can shoot 80# consistently and well. I have a few and love them!
Totally agree with you. Here's my set up. Mathews VXR 28 with some 80lb Mathews Wake limbs. I had to modify the limbs to fit the VXR limb pockets.

A relic of a thread!! I love it.

One thing you never hear is "70 pounds was just not challenging, I found myself being able to pull it back all day in any weather and I just couldn't get the speeds with the TAW I wanted. So I bumped up to 85 pounds. Found exactly what I wanted and was still able to shoot all day in any weather or situation...."

That would blow the minds of a lot of people. Run your 80+ pounders! I love mine.

Had one for 2 years when I was "younger" when single cams where still a thing.
Modern technology caught up and was able to produce results I wanted in 60-70lbs bow.
