Do you have the Aztec update installed, or are you still running the original software?

Anyone have any fireforming loads for 7sherman short headstamped ADG brass, h1000 & 175-180gr class of bullets?

Not any real data for the formed .270 Sherman yet, but got a fun fireforming load for the .270 Sherman that sure does a number on prairie dogs ha ha....

90 grain Sierra Varminter
53 grains Varget
Seating doesn't really matter, you can't even fill the neck with it....
Somewhere in the 3500 fps realm!! Nice low pressure load.

Forms nicely!!

To make the false shoulder, we necked up to .284, then up to .308, then we found out that if you take the decapping rod/expander ball out of a 7mm rem mag die, and run it all the way to where the ram is against the base of the die, it sets the shoulder perfectly for a crush fit, then just one run through the Sherman .270 die to hold the bullet and she is ready to form.

I like it! Be kinda cool to pressure those things out just to see how fast they'll go with formed brass! Might not survive the launch though...

Likely not in an 8 twist....however this is a 10 twist. My cousin is just had his .270 barrel rechambered, he is going to run the 128 Badland Bulldozers, as he lives in california and needs a non toxic bullet. Those 128 should be scooting though!! Data soon to follow!!

Looking for 7SS brass data. What's your all's typical bump and neck tension? I got the Forster dies and am running through turning mandrel after

Am I dumb or are there no listed loads for H1000 and the 7 SS? Anyone have any they care to share? (particularly 180gr+ class of bullets)
