Seekins Havak Element vs Christensen vs Fierce Carbon Rogue

2 Fierce Rifles here, a CT Rage 7mm PRC and a CT Rival 22CM. Picked the Fierce over a Ssekins because I don't like protruding mags, 100% personal preference. No complaints with either one, perform as stated by Fierce. But between those 2, don't think you can make a wrong choice, just personal preference like I did. Enjoy!

I went with an Element in 6.5 PRC. I've only shot a few boxes of factory ammo, but I'm already impressed. Looking forward to handloading for it soon. This will be heading to the NWT for Dall sheep with me in 2026.

Good looking rifle! I'm looking at some SP, what pattern stock is that? It is not one I have seen from Seekins.
thanks

Seekins. I've played Christensen Roulette and it sucks. When they work they're great, when they don't they're trash. No middle ground, and the second scenario shouldn't be a thing for the price point they sell at. Fierce are typically good but CS is rough to deal with when you do have a problem
This. Avoid Christensen like the plague. I could tell you stories upon stories. To make a long story short, I've dealt with a dozen Christensens and ONE shot respectably. The rest were garbage. I can't comprehend how they've managed to stay in business.

Perceived value. Charge enough, make it pretty enough, folks will assume it's quality and buy it.

I own a PH1 it's a tack driver and Seekins upgraded it to the New PH2 Bolt and mag for free.

I work part time as a gunsmith at a small town gun shop we sell several guns and do a lot of special orders. Every single Christensen rifle that has been ordered through the shop has been returned for a fairly serious defect of one king or another, most of them are chamber related. We have sold several Seekins rifles also and have never had one returned. We have only sold a couple of Fierce rifles but as far as I know the owners were happy. I personally took a sip of the Christensen Kool-Aid, bought a Ridgeline in 6.5 PRC the chamber was so bad it wouldn't extract a fired round, I had to beat it open. I sold it to the shop owner and we recut the chamber with the AW2 reamer, I suppose it's okay now but soured me forever. Seekins for my money, hands down.
The Christensen I owned was an ar10 in .308, and the chamber was cut so poorly that cases were coming out nearly straight walled. It failed a no-go gauge test entirely. I sent it back to Christensen, who returned it to me untouched. I sent it back again, with a handful of straight-walled empties. They sent a whole new upper back to me.

The second one mangled brass like crazy, but it did function. Just not what I expected from a $3,600 rifle.
