i was looking for a different buck that morning and could not locate him, the buck was in the same draw for the two days before opener, so i was on my way to the campground for lunch and drove out on the overlook of the park and this buck was fighting the other buck that i was looking for earlier and nice heavy 5x5 with forked g2, they were just down and around the corner of what i could see from where i sat in the morning. lucky for me know other hunters pulled out on the lookout before me that morning..

I love seeing big SD buck's on here. I'll be out in east river for opener this weekend and hoping to get lucky at opening light like you. Nice buck sir.
Fantastic public land buck! Great shooting as well. A good report and result on what a small fast projectile is capable of a distance.
