Scope thoughts

Athlon argos 6-24x comments. I'm considering getting another Bergara B14 HMR in 300 WM (I'm lefty) and was thinking about this scope for it.
My long range is limited to 600 yds and this will be for hunting. What do you think of this combo. Another optic I am considering is the Arken EPL-4, 6-24X

I don't have an Athlon, I did have an Arken like the one you are considering. I liked it, it's bulky and heavy, I thought glass was very good, and tracked fine for my use. I don't have long term input to give you because I sold the gun and the scope afterwards. I'm thinking about getting another one for a 22 arc AR I'd like to have. Good luck .

If you're not dead set on the Argos, for that same $$ I think you could find an even higher tier Athlon such as something in the Midas or Ares class. All depends on what your priorities are on options. I know there was some smokin deals out there before Christmas and surely some still around.

Check out the Eurooptic sales on Athlon's, couple of pretty good deals there, same with their Vortex deals.

Planning on heading there tomorrow or Wednesday to look at the Bergara B-14 Sierra Wilderness 7PRC so I'll be looking at the scopes also.

I saw one today at Bass pro, pretty neat rifle, in my experience Bergaras are shooters. Good luck.
