Scope thoughts

I have three Athlon scopes that I'm happy with. The Helos 4-20x50 is one of them and it's just above your price range. I also have an Argos 6-24x50 that is on the low end of your price range. Both are good scopes, but for hunting I actually like the power lever on the Argos better than the little knob on the Helos.

Athlon argos 6-24x comments. I'm considering getting another Bergara B14 HMR in 300 WM (I'm lefty) and was thinking about this scope for it.
My long range is limited to 600 yds and this will be for hunting. What do you think of this combo. Another optic I am considering is the Arken EPL-4, 6-24X

Wife got me the Athlon Ares ETR for $673. It is currently on sale at Midway for $747 and got a 10% discount for signing up for emails. Hard to beat that price and quality glass.
