Scope Level tool?

Guys this is a SOB for me to do, this takes forever to get right! well it verry time consuming After I lapp my scope rings and install my scope its, well,,,, is there an eazyer way to get my scope leavel? I turn one screw the cross haires drop to the left than to the right and its over and over..Just when I think its right on! back to the table.

Click on the Tech Article by Darrell Holland, he'll walk you through it. This is the way I've done it for years and it works. You don't need all the leveling gadgets, just a carpenter level and a place to shoot. A string with a rock tied on it will work in a pinch too.
